StockifyX (stockifyx.com) is a paper trading simulator and market research platform for educational purposes. We are not a licensed broker, investment advisor, or financial institution. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly (email address if you sign up for alerts, watchlist items saved locally in your browser) and data generated by your use of the platform (pages visited, symbols searched, simulated trades placed). We also collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and referrer URL.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data to operate and improve StockifyX, send service-related communications (such as price alert emails you explicitly request), analyze aggregate usage patterns, and display relevant advertising via Google AdSense when consent is granted.
4. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies for session management and analytics (Google Analytics 4). Google AdSense may set third-party cookies to serve personalized ads based on your interests. You may decline non-essential cookies. We do not use cookies to identify you personally without your consent.
5. Advertising
This site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. 6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers (hosting, analytics, email delivery) under strict confidentiality agreements, or when required by applicable law. We may share aggregate, anonymized usage data publicly.
7. Data Retention
Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Email addresses collected for alert subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Watchlist and portfolio data is stored only in your browser's localStorage and is never transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly use the sync feature.
8. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. EU and UK residents have additional rights under GDPR. California residents have rights under CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@stockifyx.com with your request.
9. Children's Privacy
StockifyX is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover we have collected data from a child, we will delete it immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of StockifyX after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
